AMERICA IS HARD TO FIND - THE LIFE AND TIMES OF DANIEL AND PHILIP BERRIGAN
A documentary about Daniel and Philip Berrigan - brothers, priests and internationally - reknowned anti-war activists. Children of immigrants, they came to prominence during the Vietnam era as leaders of the Catholic anti-war movement. Throughout their lives they acted "in small scale, right now," to eradicate war, support peace, and end the nuclear arms race. Never faltering, they jeopardized their careers and families, paying for their actions with long prison sentences. This is a movement that is as relevant today as it was when it began decades ago.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR ANY SUPER-8, 16MM AND VIDEO FOOTAGE, AUDIO RECORDING OR PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE 1960S AND 1970S OF ANTI-WAR PROTESTS AND FOOTAGE OF DANIEL & PHILIP BERRIGAN. IF YOU HAVE ANY MATERIAL THAT YOU'RE WILLING TO SHARE WITH US , PLEASE CONTACT US AT: [email protected]
