What happens to ordinary women after their world has been turned upside-down by war? Women, The Forgotten Face of War, tells the stories of women

surviviors of the ethnic cleansing of Kosova over a period of two years. Their story begins in Albanian refugee camps where they land after fleeing their homes in Kosova, then following

them back home where they struggle to get back on their feet and lead a normal lives. Ordinary women tell of living with the scars of gang rape and

having witnessed executions of husbands and children. In images and stories that are heartrending, courageous and ultimately unforgettable,

the film explores their world. It's a story of tragedy that women survivors of war everywhere have to live with, as well as a testimony of

women's amazing courage and willpower.
